Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has filed a defamation suit against his neighbor. Salman alleged that his neighbor Ketan Kakkar had made defamatory remarks against him in an interview with a YouTube channel.
He has filed a case for this reason. Ketan has a plot of land near Salman Khan's Panvel Farm House.
However, the Mumbai City Civil Court has not given any interim verdict in favor of Salman Khan, according to PTI. They also took part in the show.
Social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and search engines like Google have also been included in the complaint as parties. Ketan will not make any kind of negative or defamatory remarks about him or his farm house - this is what Salman Khan wants.
Meanwhile, Judge Anil H Ladhad has given the respondent till January 21 to file his reply. The next hearing of the case has been fixed for the same day.
But Ketan's lawyers Ava Singh and Aditya Pratap opposed the plea. They said his client could find out the whole matter just a day before the hearing of the case, so they want more time to understand the whole matter. Time should be given.
