Grammy suspended due to omicron-panic.

The 64th edition of the Grammy Awards, the biggest award for world music, will be held on January 31 in Los Angeles, USA. Everything was fine. But authorities have postponed the award ceremony in fear of a new type of corona omicron worldwide.

They made the announcement in a statement on their website on Wednesday. In a statement, the Grammy authorities said that the organizers considered the organization of the Grammy Awards to be extremely risky due to the spread of the virus. So for now the event has been postponed.

They wrote, "We are suspending the event for the time being due to the deliberations and analysis of the city and state governments and the views of all parties including health and safety experts, artists, collaborators, recording academies." The next date will be announced.

John Batiste received the most nominations in Grammy this year. He has won nominations in 11 categories, including R&B, Jazz, American Folk Music, Classical, and Musical. In addition, Justin Bieber, Doza Cat, Har each received eight nominations. Last year, the award ceremony was postponed.

Authorities hosted the event in mid-March, with limited guests, instead of January. Only the awardees were present. The first Grammy Awards were held on May 4, 1959. The event, organized by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, is now the most prestigious award in world music.
